DESCRIPTION:REGISTER NOW\n  \nEDC Warren County holds Economy of Now: EDC Forecast 2022 on Wednesday\, January 26th\, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Guest speakers are Liza Ochsendorf\, Director of Warren County Employment and Training\, and Libby Coreno\, General Counsel with Bonacio Construction along with remarks from EDC’s President and CEO Jim Siplon. There is no cost to attend virtually via Zoom. Pre-register online by Tuesday\, January 25\, by clicking here. \n \n  \n  \n“It is certainly not news to say that the last two years of COVID have reshaped our economy and the work we do to support it\,” says Mr. Siplon. “Our economy and its dynamic elements\, such as an aging workforce and lack of new housing\, are some of the issues now at hand. Constructing the framework that will underpin the post-COVID economy requires us all to lean into this together; to understand and retool around the Economy of Now.” \n  \nLiza Ochsendorf will be speaking about the current state as well as trends and projections for the workforce\, employment\, and the talent pipeline. She brings insights from a street-level as well as a bird’s-eye view of the workforce and employment situation\, and experience from her previous employment as Director of Student Life and Dean of Students of the SEED School of Washington\, DC. \n  \nElizabeth Coreno (“Libby”) will provide insight on real estate projects that relate to our current economic situation .
