EDC President Jim Siplon led a panel discussion on Economic Development and Housing at the annual NYSEDC conference last week in Cooperstown. The panel included EDC Board member Libby Cordero and a number of other statewide notable leaders in the critical housing arena.
Focus areas of this session included aligning incentives around housing needs, engaging the community in the need for additional housing to support our economy and best practices in the work. The EDC continues to convene, educate and problem solve in all strategic areas impacting the economic development of the region, as we work together to support a sustainable future.
