Today, West Brook Road in Lake George was renamed Betty Little Boulevard, to honor Senator Elizabeth Little. EDC Warren County’s President and CEO Jim Siplon was privileged to speak about her genuine character, and her willingness to help and encourage people to do the right thing. “When you want to get something done, you go see Betty!,” he said.

Betty Little served as a Warren County supervisor-at-large from 1987 to 1995, was a state Assemblywoman from 1995 to 2002, and was a state senator from the 45th District from 2003 to 2020.

Lake George Village Mayor Robert Blais, longest-serving mayor in the United States, had the idea of renaming West Brook Road, which borders state, county, town, and village lands.
