Economic outlook offers opportunities – Foothills Business Daily

We look forward to continuing to be your convener. and your resource for continuing to build a strong economy well into the future. Guest speakers Chris White and Liza Ochsendorf presented too, not only to business and community leaders, but to more than 20 local high school students. They are our future workforce!

Liza highlighted the fact that VR is here and is helping people learn the trades. As of right now, there are 1,053 open jabs in Warren County and that number will jump up another 1,000 jobs this summer with a need to fill positions in the hospitality sector.  Chris spoke about the innovation that is needed sue to decreased population and the aging workforce. We are using robots, drones, and artificial intelligence to fill the need.

A special THNAK YOU to Dr. Kris Duffy, President of SUNY Adirondack and her staff for being a wonderful host. It’s an amazing space.  Thank you to Liza Ochsendorf and Chris White for their presentations. Also, thank you to our Leadership Circle investors of EDC Warren County: Glens Falls Hospital, Six Flags Great Escape, Glens Falls National Bank & Trust Company, Hudson Headwaters Health Network, SUNY Adirondack, Finch Paper, Nemer Auto Group, ADKTechs, North Country Janitorial
