Here is an example of a creative collaboration bringing community, cuisine, and a great cause together.
On Thursday, December 3, Community, Work & Independence (CWI) and SUNY Adirondack’s Seasoned Culinary Center are joining forces for a special Collaborative Cuisine Dinner in downtown Glens Falls.
Both organizations are valuable community assets, each contributing in meaningful ways to the quality of life, opportunities, and experiences that make our region special.
CWI’s longstanding commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities, fostering independence, and promoting inclusion strengthens the fabric of our community.
Under the leadership of Chef Matt Bolton, SUNY Adirondack’s Culinary Arts Center and its student-run restaurant, Seasoned, provide aspiring culinary professionals with valuable hands-on experience while contributing directly to downtown Glens Falls’ growing dining and hospitality scene. This partnership with CWI brings together workforce development, culinary education, and community service in a particularly meaningful way.
From an economic development perspective, partnerships like this highlight something important: Strong communities are built not only through business investment and job creation, but also through the organizations, experiences, and relationships that make people want to live, work, and invest here.
This creative collaboration celebrates the contributions of both organizations while offering the community an opportunity to enjoy a unique dining experience and support a worthy cause.
EDC Warren County congratulates CWI and Seasoned on this innovative partnership and encourages our community to join in supporting two organizations that help make our region a better place.
