Warren County Administrator Ryan Moore reports that, “After a lot of hard work between Warren County, Washington County, New York State and other individuals and organizations who are too numerous to mention, the news is official that we now have a NYS Mass Vaccination Clinic in Warren County that is now booking appointments. We are grateful for this opportunity.”
“A convenient site for vaccinations will be a huge benefit for our community and our region,” says Mark Behan, chair of the Warren County Hospitality Communications Group and owner of Behan Communications.
“Warren County continues to be a statewide leader in percentage of residents vaccinated, at 31.6 percent, and continues to distinguish itself for effectively protecting the health of its citizens and visitors,” adds Mark. Thank you to Board of Supervisors Chairwoman Rachel Seeber and the Board of Supervisors, County Administrator Ryan Moore, Public Health Director Ginelle Jones, Public Affairs Director Don Lehman, and the many county employees and health care professionals who have led this effort.
The site, located at Aviation Mall (at the old Sears), will be open daily beginning March 19th and will be providing Pfizer vaccine. If you are eligible, you may sign up for an appointment here: https://am-i-eligible.covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/
New York’s rules for eligibility recently changed to include most government workers, and this clinic is open to newly eligible government staff as well as anyone who is eligible for vaccination under New York’s Phases 1A, 1B, those over 60 years of age and those with health issues known as comorbidities.
