Adirondack Day Brings the ADK Experience to the State Legislature

The EDC was thrilled to join our friends and colleagues from across the region for Adirondack Day at the New York State Legislature yesterday. Not only is the beauty and restorative nature of the Adirondacks good for our health and well-being as many speakers noted, the region also remains a key economic driver, with tourism making up 1/3 of our county workforce. The EDC is committed to working with our peers to the north and south to support and attract business with the shared goal of protecting these valuable natural resources that we and so many others hold dear.

Pictured are some of the exhibits from the event, including our friends at SUNY Adirondack and Hudson Headwaters Health Network, as well as the fantastic displays that brought the experience and flavor of the Adirondacks to Albany.
