EDC Warren County to Host Economic Outlook Breakfast Program Tuesday, February 25, at Queensbury Hotel in Glens Falls

EDC Warren County will host two leading experts on the economy and current business climate at a breakfast program open to the public on Tuesday, February 25 at The Queensbury Hotel in Glens Falls. Heather C. Briccetti, Esq., President & CEO of The Business Council of New York State, Inc. and James C. Clemmer, President & CEO of AngioDynamics, will offer their perspectives on the year ahead, specifically in terms of legislative activities and the medical device sector in the region.

“We are excited to share the views of two of our area’s leading experts regarding the year ahead,” stated Ed Bartholomew, President of EDC Warren County. “This program is an excellent kick-off to the year and helps shape our views on how to move Warren County forward in 2020.”

The breakfast will be held at The Queensbury Hotel, 88 Ridge Street, Glens Falls, New York. Registration and networking begin at 7:45 a.m., with the breakfast and program starting at 8:00 a.m.  Event sponsorships are available for $575 by contacting EDC Warren County.

Heather C. Briccetti, Esq. is the president and CEO of The Business Council of New York State, Inc., advocating for New York’s business community. James Clemmer joined AngioDynamics in April 2016, bringing more than 25 years of leadership within the healthcare industry and a proven track record of success.
Prior to AngioDynamics, Mr. Clemmer served as president of the $1.8 billion medical supplies segment at Covidien plc., where he directed strategic and day-to-day operations for global business divisions that collectively manufactured 23 different product categories. In addition, he managed global manufacturing, research and development, operational excellence, business development and all other functions associated with the medical supplies business. Prior to his role at Covidien, Mr. Clemmer served as group president at Kendall Healthcare, where he managed the US business across five divisions and built the strategic plan for the Medical Supplies segment before it was spun off from Tyco. Mr. Clemmer began his career at Sage Products, Inc.
Mr. Clemmer currently serves on the Board of Directors for AngioDynamics and Lantheus Medical Imaging. Mr. Clemmer is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, where he also served as Interim President from August, 2015 to March, 2016.
