FCC’s Affordable Connectivity Program Due to Expire in April

In April 2024, the FCC’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is due to expire unless Congress extends funding. The program enables qualifying households to receive discounted internet service through their providers. If the program is discontinued, over 58,000 households in eleven northern New York counties will be negatively impacted and likely unable to continue using broadband. EDC and the North Country Broadband Alliance urge Congress to continue to fund this important program. https://lnkd.in/ef4fXh2c
