Congratulations to the team at Arrow Financial Corporation on the announced acquisition and merger with Utica-based Adirondack Bank.
Headquartered in Glens Falls, Arrow has long been one of the region’s most important financial institutions and a consistent supporter of economic development efforts across the Adirondacks and Capital Region. Their partnership/support of organizations like EDC Warren County and many others has helped finance businesses, housing, community projects, and the local entrepreneurs who drive our regional economy.

This strategic merger brings together two institutions with deep Adirondack roots and extends Arrow’s reach westward into the Mohawk Valley. The combined organization is expected to operate 58 offices with approximately $5.4 billion in assets, strengthening the availability of banking and financial services across upstate communities.

Strong regional banks matter. They provide the capital that supports small businesses, manufacturers, housing development, and the community investments that keep our towns and cities vibrant.

With this move, Arrow is well positioned to serve communities across the full Adirondack corridor, from the eastern Capital Region to the western side of the Park.

Congratulations to Arrow Financial and Adirondack Bank on this exciting next chapter.
