EDC Warren County congratulates Bonacio Group and the City of Glens Falls on breaking ground for Phase 2 of the South Street Apartments, a key milestone in the ongoing revitalization of the South Street corridor.
This project continues the transformation set in motion by the City’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) award from New York State, bringing high-quality housing, new residents, and fresh energy to the heart of downtown.
The South Street redevelopment, anchored by housing, new market space, and street-level vibrancy, reflects the power of partnership between the City, private developers, and the many community organizations that share a vision for a thriving, walkable, and connected Glens Falls.
The late EDC President Ed Bartholomew, whose leadership helped secure the original DRI investment in 2016, would be proud to see how that vision continues to unfold, and how projects like this are shaping the next chapter of Glens Falls’ growth.
