Congratulations to Susan Arbetter and the entire Spectrum News team on the Emmy nomination for “The Adirondacks: New York’s Unicorn.”
Although the documentary premiered about six months ago, its themes are every bit as relevant today. The Adirondack Park continues to navigate important issues including housing, workforce, population trends, infrastructure and environmental stewardship. These conversations remain central to the region’s future.
We’re proud that EDC Warren County President Jim Siplon was invited to contribute to the documentary, sharing EDC’s perspective. His message reflects a principle that continues to guide our work: thriving communities and protected natural resources are not competing priorities. They are mutually reinforcing.
Congratulations again to Susan Arbetter and everyone involved in producing this outstanding documentary. The Emmy nomination is well deserved and a reminder that the Adirondacks’ story is one of national significance.
