New Capital Grant Program Will Award Funds to Projects Located in Pro-Housing Certified Communities  •  New Program to Support Small Manufacturers Throughout the State

Glens Falls celebrated Earth Day today in City Park. Headed up by Sustainable PR, with support from the City of Glens Falls, the event showcased the Glens Falls Vertical Farm project, several guest speakers, children’s activities by the World Awareness Children’s Museum and exhibitors such as Crandall Public Library, Bike Glens Falls and Glens Falls Master Gardener Shellie Wise.

Speakers included U.S. Rep. Paul Tonko; Claudia Braymer, Glens Falls 3rd Ward supervisor and member of the New York State Association of Counties’ Climate Action Standing Committee; Chris Stroud, chief operating officer of Cipriani Energy Group; and Jeff Flagg, the city’s economic development director.
